In 2018, I had the good fortunate of spending a semester abroad studying in Salamanca, Spain and traveling throughout Europe. I am still in awe of the beauty I encountered while there. During my time abroad, I gained invaluable insights on how to travel well which consisted of thinking ahead (always), planning for deviations, booking on a budget, and designing a strategic itinerary for the limited time available in each country. Over the next few months, I will post my itinerary for each location along with any tips and advice to consider when planning your next adventure to Europe.
Advice to the adventurers:
Travel. Travel any chance that you get. Travel by plane, boat, car, donkey, bike….it doesn’t matter how you get there, just find a way to see it. Your destination doesn’t have to be located across an ocean. Go in all directions with (un)known destinations. Travel to places you never knew existed and see beauty that surpasses your wildest imagination. Find yourself fearless.
“Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don’t want to be like most people.
